What does a baby shower look like in 2020?
While this pandemic sometimes feels like a long dark tunnel, there are many special moments that cast their light through the cracks, and deserve to be celebrated. One of the joys of 2020 for Breton and Caitlin was the arrival of their first child. The couple wanted to find a way to celebrate the baby’s arrival while staying mindful of the current pandemic and the safety of family and friends. We worked closely (virtually) with Breton and Caitlin to develop a socially-distanced, curbside baby shower that would allow for family and friends to show their love and support.
Giving this baby shower the dapper touch, we turned their special day into a curbside celebration utilizing the couple’s front yard. We designed a plush vignette for the mother-to-be, which included stylish pouf seating, throw pillows, fresh floral arrangements, banners, balloons, and decorative accents. Our team delivered and set up all of the decor the morning of the shower and came back later that day to pick everything up.
Family and friends were able to parade on by the house to send their well-wishes to the couple. The vignette also served as a photo op so guests could snap a photo of the couple and share their love on social media. Individually wrapped sweet treats were passed to guests as they drove by, serving as a thank you gift from the couple.
